Project Description
Sintempo is a solo dance piece by Spanish choreographer and dancer Sara Cano, known for her eclectic background blending contemporary dance, flamenco, and folklore. The work explores the concept of timelessness, weaving movement, voice, and sound into a multidisciplinary performance.
The music and sound design play a fundamental role in shaping the piece’s emotional arc. The original soundtrack, composed by Héctor González Sánchez (aka Hachedelara), was developed in close dialogue with the choreographer. Using a minimal setup that includes timple, synths, and voice, the sonic palette builds a rich textural landscape. The final sound mix and spatial design, carried out by Jorge Díaz “Roy”, ensured full coherence with the scenic narrative and the demands of live performance.
